Terms of Use

1Nature of the Service

The Reddit App is a free community tool: an interactive map where members of a subreddit can show the city they are in, find people and hangouts nearby, and organize meetups through normal Reddit posts. It also includes optional extras (the Pixel Pub games and jukebox, and the Magic Book, a link to our free book on personality types at mazwiz.com). The book is for education and self reflection only and is not medical, psychological or professional advice.

2Who Can Use It

You must be at least 18 years old and allowed to use Reddit. Ages under 18 cannot be entered in the app, and intro posts that give an age under 18 are not linked. Without logging in to Reddit you can look around the map and its members, but hangouts, messages and your own page need a Reddit login.

3Your Profile and Content

• You are responsible for what you add: your place, tag, links, favourite subreddits and the hangouts you post or link. Keep it truthful and appropriate for the community.
• Choose a city, not an address. Do not share other people's personal information.
• "I'm going": the Reddit App only posts a comment from your account after you confirm it. The comment is yours, it follows Reddit's rules like any other comment, and you can delete it on Reddit at any time. Using the app never requires you to post or comment.

4Acceptable Use

Do not use the Reddit App to harass, stalk, threaten or spam anyone, to impersonate others, to advertise, or to collect information about members. Do not try to exploit, overload, reverse engineer or work around the app's limits and privacy protections. Members can block each other, and moderators can remove members from their community's map.

5Meeting People

The Reddit App helps people find each other; it does not verify anyone's identity, age or intentions, and it does not organize or supervise hangouts. Meet in public places, tell someone you trust where you are going, and use your own judgment. You are responsible for your own safety and conduct when meeting others.

6Moderators and Communities

Each community's moderators choose how the map works in their subreddit (its type, its network and its features) and can remove members from their map. Communities on the Global Network share the map hosted on r/mazwiz, whose moderators can remove members from it.

7Limits and Availability

To prevent spam and manage costs, the Reddit App enforces limits (for example on hangouts hosted per day, profile saves, changes of place or area code per day, and songs shared). Features that rely on outside services (YouTube, Discord, the external Pixel Pub games page) may be unavailable at times. We may modify, suspend, or end the Reddit App or any feature at any time without prior notice.

8Privacy

How your data is stored, shown and deleted is explained in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your profile at any time in the app.

9Limitation of Liability

The Reddit App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties regarding its accuracy, availability, or the information other members provide. In no event shall MazWiz or its developers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Reddit App, including meetings between members.

10Changes

We may update these Terms when the Reddit App changes. The effective date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Reddit App means you accept the updated Terms.

11Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
