MazWiz Hangout Map
Your area code
Find the code of your area (about 1 km radius), then paste it in your map profile so people near you find you first.
Your area code
Now, in the map
- Go back to Reddit and open the Hangout Map.
- In Me, Edit profile, paste the code in "Area code".
- Save.
- iPhone: Settings, Privacy & Security, Location Services: turn it on, then allow your browser (for example Safari Websites) "While Using".
- Android: tap the icon left of the address bar, Permissions (or Site settings), Location: Allow. Location must also be on in your phone's quick settings.
You can also find your code on geohash.es.
Your position never leaves your phone: the code is worked out on this page and nothing is sent or saved. Only the code you paste in the map is saved, and it is never shown to anyone.
