Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what the MazWiz DTI Test (the personality test at mazwiz.com, the "Test") stores, why, and how you can delete it. The Test needs no account and collects as little as possible.
1What Stays on Your Device
While you take the DTI test, your answers are saved in your own browser (local storage) so you can close the page and continue later. They are not sent anywhere. You can erase them at any time with "Retake from scratch" or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
2What You Can Choose to Send
At the end of the test, if you know your personality type, you may press "Send my answers anonymously". Nothing is sent unless you press it. It stores one anonymous record containing only:
- your answers to the cards, and the result you were shown;
- the type you say you are, how sure you are, and how you know it;
- how well the result fits you, if you said;
- the version of the test, and the time it was sent.
The record contains no name, email, account, or device identifier, and we do not store your IP address with it. You can also choose "Copy my answer code" instead, which only gives you a code to share yourself.
3How We Use It
Only to measure and improve the accuracy of the test: which cards work, and which ones mislead. We do not sell or share these records, and we do not use them for advertising.
We publish what we learn from them on the versions page: totals and shares only, such as how often each type is found. No single record or answer is published, and nothing about any group of fewer than 5 people.
4Services We Use
- Google Firebase hosts the Test, stores the records you send (Cloud Firestore), and uses Google reCAPTCHA (App Check) to check that a record really comes from the Test. reCAPTCHA only loads when you press send, and Google's own privacy policy applies to it.
- GitHub keeps a copy of the anonymous records in a private repository, for analysis.
The Test itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.
5Deletion and Retention
After you send your answers, the page shows a reference. Email it to contact@mazwiz.com and we will delete that record. Because records are anonymous, this reference is the only way to find yours. Records are otherwise kept for as long as they help improve the test.
6Your Rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws, you can ask to access or delete data about you. Since the records cannot be linked to you without your reference, please include it in your request.
7Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Test changes. The effective date above shows the latest version.
