Welcome to MazWiz. This Privacy Policy explains how Claudina Luis Ernesto ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application, MazWiz (the "Application"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Collection of Your Information

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Application includes:

Personal Data You Provide: Personally identifiable information, such as your username, email address, password, display name, and bio, that you voluntarily give to us when you create your account or participate in activities on the Application.

Camera and Photos: With your permission, we may access your camera or photo library to allow you to upload a profile picture, post images to the feed, or share images in chat. These images are stored on our servers to display them to other users as per your request.

Geo-Location Information: With your explicit permission, we request access to and track precise, location-based information from your mobile device while you are using the map feature. This is to provide the service of seeing other users nearby. You can change our access or permissions at any time in your device’s settings.

AI Interaction Data: When you use the "AI Teacher" feature, the text queries (prompts) you enter are sent to Google Gemini for processing to generate a response. We advise against sharing sensitive personal or financial information in your AI chats.

Usage Data: Information our servers automatically collect when you use the Application, such as your interactions with posts, device type, IP address, and operating system version.

2. Use of Your Information

• To provide and maintain our Service, including the post feed, event feed, and chat.
• To process payments and manage your "Director's Pass" subscription via Adapty.
• To provide location-based features, primarily the user map.
• To generate AI-driven educational content and responses.
• To enable user-to-user communications.
• To analyze usage data to identify trends and improve the Application.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information with third-party service providers that help us operate our Application:

• Google Firebase: Used for authentication, database hosting (Cloud Firestore), and analytics.
• Adapty: Used to manage subscriptions, validate receipts, and track purchase status for the "Director's Pass." Adapty may collect device identifiers and purchase history to validate your subscription.
• Google Gemini (AI Provider): To function, the "AI Teacher" feature sends your text prompts to Google's AI models for processing. This data is used to generate the responses you see in the chat.

4. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time.

How to Delete:

• In-App: Go to your Profile Settings > Account > Delete Account.
• Web Request (Email): If you cannot access the app or wish to request deletion remotely, please email us at contact@mazwiz.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will verify your identity and complete the deletion process within 30 days.

Upon deletion, your profile, photos, chat history, and location data are permanently removed from our active databases.

5. Your Data Rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the GDPR, EU users have the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data, and to restrict processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us or using the in-app settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service is strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with Personal Data, we delete such information immediately.

7. Community Standards & Child Safety

Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

MazWiz has a zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). We do not allow any content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates the sexual exploitation of children.

Reporting & Action:

• Users can report inappropriate content or behavior directly within the app using the "Report" function found on user profiles and posts.
• All reports are reviewed within 24 hours by our moderation team.
• Any content found to be CSAM will be immediately removed, the user account will be permanently banned, and we will report the incident to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities as required by law.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
