The Journey Within

A free book about personality type, from the eight functions to the shadow, and about the journey each type is invited to live. Built on the work of Carl Jung, John Beebe and Joseph Campbell.

Most of what you find about the 16 types stops at the four letters, or at the first four functions. John Beebe went further: he gave all eight functions a seat in each type, and to each seat a character, from a Hero in the light down to a Demon in the shadow.

Put next to Joseph Campbell's hero's journey, these characters tell one story: the one you live when life asks for more than your strengths, and you have to meet the rest of yourself.

Read it in any order. Words with a dotted line open a short definition, and each idea says who it comes from (how the labels work).
